Charlotte has a moderate climate - winters generally don't bring large amounts of snow or extreme cold.  Average snow accumulation is less than 6 inches - but nearby mountains mean that Charlotte residents don't have to endure constant snow to enjoy it!  In the summer, cool nights break up the warm summer days - leaving Charlotte much cooler than other Southern cities sizzling in the summer!
